MagSafe pucks, 2-in-1 stands, and fast USB-C wall bricks — narrowed to the ones that align cleanly, hold their charge speed, and survive nightstand duty.

What we check before recommending a charger

Snap alignment and wobble on MagSafe models, real sustained wattage rather than the number on the box, how hot the cable and port run under load, and whether a case has to come off first. Compatibility comes before price every time — a fast charger that won’t reach through your case is a slow charger.

Chargers questions, answered

About 30W. No current iPhone draws meaningfully more, so a 30W USB-C Power Delivery charger reaches full speed. A 65W or 100W brick charges an iPhone no faster — it just also charges a laptop.

Yes. MagSafe tops out at 15W and loses energy as heat, while a 30W cable is roughly twice as fast. MagSafe is for convenience overnight; a cable is for when you’re in a hurry.

Wireless chargers work through most cases up to about 3mm. Thick rugged cases, cases with metal plates, and cases with card slots either weaken the magnet or block charging entirely. Every product page here carries a case note.

For most wireless pads, yes — they ship with a cable but no plug. Check the ‘Power adapter’ row in each spec table before you order.
