It is a slim white puck on a long white cable — the design everyone else copies. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone vertically for video, the cable is a generous 2 metres, and the whole thing is about as minimal as a charger gets. The one blemish is a recurring pattern of units failing early in owner reports, which is not what you expect from Apple hardware.
Plug the USB-C end into an adapter you provide, and put the puck against the back of the phone. It snaps to the centre. On an iPhone 16 or 17 with a 30W adapter it negotiates up to 25W; on older phones or a 20W adapter it does 15W.
