On the face of it, it’s a familiar long-arm suction mount: a big cup at the base, a telescopic arm with a metal core and a spring-armed cradle with a one-button release.
The cup’s the difference. It’s a three-layer nano-gel design with a two-stage lock, rated for a wide temperature range and made to be washed and reused when it loses its tack. Overall, it’s built a notch above the generic versions of this design.
Clean the surface, or put the included sticky pad down first if your dashboard is textured, then press the cup on firmly and throw both locking levers so the two-stage lock pulls the gel tight against the surface.
