It’s a handlebar clamp with four adjustable corner grips, a silicone pad on each one, a 360° ball joint and a sliding lock switch.
Everything about the design is aimed at keeping the phone in. You seat it, close the arms and flick the lock, and from then on the arms physically can’t open. The pads take the edge off handlebar buzz. Sturdy, too, though a minority of owner reports mention a clamp or an arm failing early.
Wrap the clamp around a handlebar anywhere between 15 and 40 mm.
