It’s a thin metal-and-magnet disc with a ring that swings out. The clever part is that the magnet works on both sides, gripping the phone on one face and presenting a MagSafe surface on the other, so a charger or car mount still works with the ring attached.
Flip the ring out: finger loop. Fold it another way: kickstand. It feels solid, and TORRAS’s 30,000-cycle claim suggests it’s designed for the wear a moving grip gets.
On a MagSafe phone, or a case with a magnet, you just snap it on and adjust where it sits. On a non-magnetic case, stick the included metal ring on first, then attach the grip. Then leave it.
The magnet holds firmly, and the ring turns a full 360°, so you can set the grip sideways for a game or upright for scrolling.
As a stand, it’s steady in both orientations, though it softens a little as the hinge wears. The best thing about it, though, is the pass-through. Plenty of grip rings make you choose between holding the phone comfortably and using your MagSafe charger. This one doesn’t.

The magnet doesn’t wear out, but the hinge and ring do. TORRAS’s 30,000-cycle figure points to years of normal use, and TORRAS covers it with a limited warranty plus optional extended cover if you register.
At $26.98, it costs more than a plain adhesive ring grip, because you’re also getting the two-sided magnet and the fold-flat stand.
If you use MagSafe accessories, that pass-through magnet earns the premium, since a cheap adhesive ring blocks your charger and your mounts. If you never use MagSafe, a $10 adhesive ring does the grip-and-stand job for less. Fair buy? Under about $22.

Our reservations are small ones. The hinge and ring are moving parts that will loosen eventually, it’s fiddly to reposition on a non-magnetic case once it’s stuck, and it costs more than a basic adhesive ring. If you use MagSafe, the pass-through magnet is worth paying for. If you don’t, a cheaper ring will do.
