The G09 is the nicest-made grip in this group by a clear margin: aerospace-grade aluminium, a clean anodised finish, and a dual-axis ball joint that lets you set any angle rather than clicking through presets. It is slim and light for a metal accessory. The Halbach magnet array is the interesting engineering claim, but in practice owner reports on hold strength are genuinely split.
Snap it to a MagSafe phone or a magnet-ring case, or apply one of the bundled metal plates to a non-magnetic phone first. Then use the ball joint to set a grip or viewing angle. There is a short learning curve to the dual-axis motion.
