Home/iPhone/Screen & Camera Protection/ZAGG Glass+ Screen Protector
The ZAGG Glass+ installs easily and carries a name people trust, and its limited lifetime warranty is a real feature for anyone who’ll register and claim replacements. The reason to hesitate is durability — a large share of owners report it cracking within days of a minor knock.

One-sentence verdict: Worth it if you specifically want the ZAGG name and its replacement programme on a 6.1-inch iPhone 13/14-class screen and will use the warranty — skip it if you want a protector that reliably survives a single drop or don’t want to deal with a claims process.

Easy to fit, harder to keep — cracking and edge lift are the recurring themes.

Standard full-coverage tempered glass with an alignment tray. The glass is clear and smooth; the border is thin. The problems are structural rather than cosmetic: for a large share of owners the glass cracks easily and the edges do not stay down. That is a poor pairing for a $25 single sheet from a brand that trades on toughness.
Clean the screen, use the dust removal sticker, seat the tray and lay the glass in. Most people get a clean install.
For a screen protector, performance is install ease, coverage, case fit, touch, glare, fingerprints and edge feel. Install and touch are fine. Coverage is full. Fingerprints are managed. Edge feel and edge adhesion are weak, and impact durability is the headline failing — ‘cracked within days’ recurs across thousands of reviews.

The durability record is the story, and it is not good. ZAGG’s limited lifetime warranty is the mitigation — register the product and you can claim replacements — but that is a process with a shipping fee, not a spare in the box. Whether the protector is worth it depends almost entirely on whether you will use that warranty.
At $24.99 on Amazon (checked August 26, 2026), you are paying a brand premium for a single sheet, versus roughly $22 for three ESR sheets.
The value case rests entirely on the lifetime warranty: if you will actually register and claim replacements, the effective cost per year drops. If you would rather just buy a cheap 3-pack and swap sheets yourself, that is less hassle for less money. We would call it a fair buy under about $18, and only if you plan to use the warranty.

| Product | Best for | Key advantage | Main drawback | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZAGG Glass+ Screen Protector (this protector) | The ZAGG name and its replacement programme | Easy install, lifetime warranty | Cracks easily; edges lift; ~$25 for one sheet | $24.99 |
| ESR Armorite Screen Protector (3-Pack) | Cheap sheets and easy self-swapping | ~$7 a sheet, frame install | Durability inconsistent; edge complaints too | $21.99 |
| TORRAS Uncrackable 9H+ Privacy (2-Pack) | Privacy plus a spare | Full-space fit, two sheets | Privacy film dims the screen | $31.49 |
If you do not care about the ZAGG name and its warranty process, an ESR 3-pack gets you three sheets for less money and lets you swap them yourself. Prices are Amazon figures from August 26, 2026.
The ZAGG Glass+ installs easily and comes from a brand people trust, and its limited lifetime warranty is a genuine feature for anyone who will register and claim replacements.
The durability record undercuts all of that. Across more than 41,000 reviews, cracking within days and edges that lift are the dominant complaints, which is a bad look for a $25 single sheet that sells on toughness. Its 3.4 score is the honest read. Buy it only if the ZAGG name and its warranty process matter to you; otherwise a $22 ESR 3-pack is more sheets for less money and no claims form.

You register the product and can then claim replacements, but you typically pay shipping. It is a claims process, not a spare in the box.
For many owners, no. Edge lift that collects dust is a recurring complaint.
