Clear 9H tempered-glass sheets for the screen, individual glass covers for the rear lenses, and amFilm’s auto-alignment trays.
The screen glass is standard thickness with the usual cutouts, and the lens covers add almost nothing to the camera bar. The trays are what set it apart: they position the glass for you, so you’re not trying to line it up by eye.
This is the selling point. Clean the screen, seat the tray over the phone, and the glass drops into place already lined up; press out any air and lift the tray away. amFilm says it takes about thirty seconds, and it takes almost all of the skill out of the job.
Do the camera glass the same way, with its own frame. Then re-register your fingerprint.
Once it’s on, the screen protector behaves like any good clear sheet: full clarity, normal touch, and a fingerprint sensor that works after re-registration. It takes everyday scuffs.
The lens covers protect the camera glass with no visible effect in daylight, and the usual small chance of a faint flare from bright lights at night. Neither part is exceptional. Both do their jobs, and the install is the best you’ll find.
