−10% Spigen Ultra Hybrid MagFit (iPhone 17/18 Pro Max)
If we had to put one case on our own iPhone 18 Pro Max, it would be this one.
The TORRAS O3 Air Gradient is a translucent, dip-dyed shell with visible air-cushion corners and TORRAS’s O-ring stand on the back. The ring spins a full 360° to prop the phone up at almost any angle, works as a finger grip, and folds flat over a MagSafe-compatible magnet. In Burgundy Purple Haze, the colour fades from frosted white at the camera to deep plum at the bottom, and it’s the best-looking iPhone 18 Pro Max stand case we’ve seen.

One-sentence verdict: Our favourite iPhone 18 Pro Max case: the best-looking stand case you can buy, with a 360° ring that earns its place; just know you’re paying about twice the price of a plain TORRAS magnetic case for the finish.
Burgundy Purple Haze fades from frosted white at the top to plum at the bottom. The O-ring folds flat over the magnet and flips out as a stand or grip.

Propped on its ring in portrait. The stand holds the angle on its own, and the gradient deepens from frosted lilac at the camera to plum at the base.
| Best for | iPhone 18 Pro Max owners who want a case that looks special, a stand they will use every day, and real corner protection without an armored look. |
| Not ideal for | Anyone shopping on price, or who stacks MagSafe wallets and grips on the back — the ring turns with them. |

The shell is translucent PC and PMMA over a TPU frame, and it’s dip-dyed rather than spray-painted, so the colour sits in the plastic instead of on top of it. In Burgundy Purple Haze, the top of the case is almost clear frosted white and the bottom is deep plum, which lets the phone’s own colour show through around the camera.
Look at the corners and you’ll see the air chambers as small bubbles in the frame. The sides have a micro-dotted texture for grip, the buttons are covered with clicky caps, and TORRAS includes spares in other colours. The O-ring itself is aluminium. It folds flush.
TORRAS lists it at 2.8 mm thick. Weight? 47–54 g. In practice, it’s a mid-weight case: slimmer than a rugged one, but wider at the corners than a thin one. That matters on a phone that already weighs 249 g, and our iPhone 18 Pro Max weight guide covers the lightest ways to protect it.
It goes on over the corners and snaps into place. Snug, but not a fight to get off.
After that, it’s all about the ring. Pull it out from the top and it becomes a stand that holds 30–60° in portrait or 20–90° in landscape, and because the pivot travels around the whole ring, you can set it in almost any position. Hook a finger through it and it’s a grip. The one habit you’ll need to learn is keeping it low when you take a photo, because the ring can turn up over the lenses. The covered buttons and the Camera Control cover respond well.
Three things matter here: protection, the stand and the magnet.
Protection is the strongest of the three. TORRAS rates it at 15 ft, and a TORRAS representative told Podfeet that the O3 series is dropped 182 times from four feet onto plywood over concrete, which is seven rounds of the MIL-STD-810G transit-drop test. Real-world drops back that up, with phones landing on concrete and gravel coming away unmarked while the case takes the scuff.
The stand is stiff and holds its angle, and the magnet, rated at 18 N, is strong enough for chargers, car mounts and power banks, with wireless charging passing straight through the case so you never need to take it off at night. One quirk: the magnet sits under the rotating ring. Anything you snap on turns when the ring turns, and one owner found the ring clinging to a MagSafe charger when they pulled the phone away.

This 18 Pro Max version is new, but the O3 Air design has been sold for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max since spring 2026, and those owners are its track record. One reports five months of drops with the case still looking new. Another found the inside scratched easily while cleaning it, and one owner in Japan says the stand hinge loosened after about a month, so the ring slowly drifted when the phone was propped up.
TORRAS rates the ring for 30,000 rotations and 10,000 folds, which sounds like plenty, though nobody has owned this version long enough to test that. The gradient is dyed in, not painted on. That should wear better than a print. There’s a 365-day TORRAS warranty, and in at least one published case, TORRAS replaced a worn case without any argument.
At $59.99, the O3 Air Gradient sits at the top of the iPhone 18 Pro Max stand-case market, with TORRAS’s own Q3 Air and Ostand Hue close behind on price and a plain TORRAS magnetic case for the same phone costing about half as much.
So what are you paying for? Two things: a finish nobody else makes, and a stand you’ll use every day. If both matter to you, it’s worth it, and the 365-day warranty takes some of the sting out. If all you want is protection and MagSafe, buy a cheaper case. Amazon has been selling it below its usual price lately, so check for a deal before you buy.

| Product | Best for | Key advantage | Main drawback | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TORRAS O3 Air Gradient (this case) | The best-looking stand case with real corner protection | Gradient finish, 360° ring, air-cushion corners | Expensive; MagSafe add-ons turn with the ring | $59.99 |
| TORRAS Q3 Air (iPhone 18 Pro Max) | A calmer premium stand case | Ring always pulls out from the top, so it is easy to find by feel | Plain finish; ring does not orbit the magnet | $65.99 |
| TORRAS Q3 Rugged (iPhone 18 Pro Max) | Maximum protection with a stand | Tougher build and microfiber lining, for less money | Bulkier, rugged look | $44.58 |
| CASEKOO 360-Spin (iPhone 18 Pro Max) | The same stand idea on a budget | Much cheaper 360° magnetic stand case | Frosted matte finish, no gradient; less corner cushioning | $33.99 |
Pick the Q3 Air if you want TORRAS quality with a quieter look and a ring you can always find by feel. Pick the Q3 Rugged if protection comes first, or the CASEKOO if you want a 360° magnetic stand for about half the money. Choose the O3 Air Gradient when the look matters as much as the stand, which is exactly why it’s our favourite. Whichever you go for, make sure it’s the iPhone 18 Pro Max size, and for more cases and accessories that launched alongside the new phones, see our iPhone 18 Pro accessories guide.
This is our favourite iPhone 18 Pro Max case. Burgundy Purple Haze is the prettiest finish we’ve seen on any case for this phone, and it isn’t all show, either. We think the 360° ring is the most useful stand design around, the air-cushion corners have a good drop record, and the 18 N magnet works with chargers and car mounts. Owners love it, too: 4.7 stars from 120 Amazon ratings, shared with the iPhone 17 versions of the same case.
Our reservations are the price and the ring. It costs about twice a plain magnetic case, and value is where owners disagree. The rotating ring also gets in the way of stacked MagSafe accessories, can end up over the lenses, and is the part with the most to prove over time. Buy it for the look and the stand and it’s easy to love. Buy it just for protection and you’re overpaying.

Yes, this listing is made for the 6.9-inch iPhone 18 Pro Max. Check that the Size selector says “for iPhone 18 Pro Max, 6.9 inch“, because the same listing also sells 18 Pro, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max versions.
Yes. The iPhone 17 Pro Max and 18 Pro Max have identical body dimensions, so this case fits both. We compare the two phones in detail in iPhone 17 Pro Max vs 18 Pro Max: will your old case fit?
Yes. The 18 N magnet holds MagSafe and Qi2 chargers, car mounts and power banks, and charging passes through. Wallets and grips attach too, but they turn with the ring when it rotates.
Yes. Amazon calls it Burgundy Purple Haze, and TORRAS’s own store calls the same colour Dusk Haze. Either way, it fades from frosted white at the top to deep plum at the bottom.
Only if you rotate it up there. The pivot moves around the whole ring, so it can end up over the lenses. Keep it at the bottom or sides when you take a photo.
The stand. On the Q3, the ring always pulls out from the top and swivels on one pivot. On the O3, the pivot travels around the whole ring for more angles. The O3 Air Gradient also has the dip-dyed gradient finish.
