Put an iPhone 17 Pro down on a desk often enough and the camera bump will meet some grit. ESR’s lens protector puts a small ring of tempered glass over each lens so the grit scratches that instead, and it costs $7.99.
It’s one of those rare cheap accessories that simply works. An alignment tool makes fitting it almost automatic, and the only real caveat is the same one every piece of lens glass has: a faint chance of flare in night shots.

These are separate tempered-glass discs, each with a black metal rim and sized to its lens, plus a plastic alignment jig.
Cleanly made. The rims look like part of the phone, not something stuck on afterwards. The anti-reflective coating is there to keep the one real drawback of lens glass, reflections in night shots, to a minimum.
Peel off the backing, seat the jig over the camera bump and press each ring down. As phone accessories go, it’s about as foolproof as fitting gets, and owners rarely report bubbles or rings that went on crooked.
The fit is excellent, and so is the install, and in normal light you won’t see any effect at all on your photos, from a menu across the table to a landscape out of the car window.
Night is different. Any lens glass can put a faint flare around bright points of light after dark, and while ESR’s coating cuts that down, it can’t get rid of it completely. If you mostly shoot in daylight or indoors, you’ll probably never notice, and it gets along fine with most cases.

For the iPhone 17 Pro line, this ESR set is the one to get. The other lens accessories we cover are either for older iPhones or do a different job, like decoration or a physical privacy shutter.
It just works. For $7.99, you get scratch-resistant glass over the most expensive lenses on the phone, an alignment tool that does most of the fitting for you, and rims that look like they belong there. A 4.6-star average from more than 6,500 buyers is one of the best in the category, and it’s deserved.
The only real caveat is optical. Any glass over a lens can add a faint flare around bright points of light at night, and ESR’s anti-reflective coating reduces that without fully removing it. Unless you’re a dedicated night photographer, it’s a non-issue, and this is an easy one to recommend.
