Structurally, it’s a hard-backed case with a raised-edge frame, and on its own, that would be unremarkable. The two sliding camera covers are what make it different.
The rear slider is well done. It moves with a positive action and stays shut. The front slider is where the design struggles: it’s small, and owners keep reporting that it creeps open, which defeats the whole point. The rear camera cover itself is also reported to crack in normal use.
It goes on like any case, with nothing to set up, and you slide the covers open or shut as you need them. The annoying part is having to remember to check the front cover, because it doesn’t reliably stay put.

For protection, Valenta claims a 6-foot drop rating with air-cushion corners, which nobody has independently verified, but the frame underneath the sliders is a perfectly normal protective design with raised edges, so it should cope with the same everyday drops as any other mid-range hard case. If a camera shutter isn’t essential, a normal case plus a cheap stick-on webcam cover for the selfie camera gets you most of the way for much less. On a newer phone, look at the TORRAS Magnetic Shockproof or the Spigen Ultra Hybrid.
It gets the concept right. Physical sliders over both cameras are a privacy guarantee software can’t give you, and Face ID and the flashlight still working with the front cover closed shows someone thought it through. The rear slider works well.
