This is a two-piece sealed enclosure in the familiar waterproof-case mould: a front frame with a built-in screen film that also carries the privacy filter, a back shell, gaskets and a sealed port cover. Assembled carefully it seals. The build quality is where reports diverge — a fair number of owners are happy, but a notable minority report the case cracking or the seal failing early, which is a bigger concern on a case whose whole job is keeping water out.
Seat the phone, close the two halves, check the gasket. As with any sealed case, a water test before trusting it is wise. The privacy filter and screen film are part of the front frame, so there is nothing extra to install — but you also cannot remove them, so you live with the slight dimming and haze full time.
For a sealed privacy case, the seal, the filter and everyday usability are what matter. The IP68 seal works when set correctly. The privacy filter blocks side viewers as advertised, at the cost of some brightness. The everyday penalty is audio: sound comes through muffled, the same complaint you get from every full-seal case. Touch through the film is acceptable. MagSafe hold via the ring is fine.
