Samsung left magnets out of the Galaxy S26, so a magnetic power bank only works if you add a magnetic case. The GALVANOX MAG-5 is a 5,000mAh magnetic bank aimed squarely at Samsung owners, at about half the price of Samsung’s own. It is a small, single-top-up battery that snaps to the back of the phone.

A compact black puck a little larger than a stack of cards, with a magnetic charging face and a USB-C port on the side. It is plain and light. There is no kickstand and no shaped cutout for the Galaxy camera bar — both of which Samsung’s own version has — so it sits flat against the back of the case.
Put a magnetic case on the Galaxy, snap the MAG-5 to the back, and it starts charging. You can plug a second device into the USB-C port to charge it at the same time. Recharge the bank through the same port.
As a magnetic top-up it works: 15W Qi2 is a fair wireless rate, the magnet holds through normal handling, and dual charging is genuinely useful. The hard limit is capacity. 5,000mAh, minus wireless-charging losses, is one partial charge for a large Android battery — it will get you through an evening, not rescue you on a travel day. The 3.9-star average, on a small sample, points to owners who found it fine and a minority who hit magnet-strength or charging-reliability issues.

A small brand with a limited track record and around 300 ratings does not give much to go on. The magnet and the USB-C port are the usual wear points. GALVANOX states a limited warranty but not the term on this listing.
At $29.99 on Amazon (checked August 28, 2026), the MAG-5 is priced between a cheap flat power bank and Samsung’s $65 official magnetic bank. Belkin’s 5,000mAh Qi2 magnetic bank, which we rate a little higher, costs about $60 but adds a kickstand.
The value case is “magnetic charging for a Galaxy, cheaply.” That holds up only if you were going to run a magnetic case anyway. If you are not committed to that, a small flat power bank costs less and works with any phone. Check the current price before you buy.

If 5,000mAh is enough and price is the priority, the MAG-5 does the job. Spend more for the Belkin if you want a kickstand and a stronger rating, or the TORRAS MiniMag if you want double the capacity. All of them need a magnetic case on a Galaxy. Prices are Amazon figures from August 28, 2026.
The GALVANOX MAG-5 does a narrow job at a fair price: it adds cheap magnetic top-up charging to a Galaxy that has no magnets, as long as you put a magnetic case on the phone. The 15W Qi2 rate and the dual-charging feature are genuinely useful, and it costs about half what Samsung asks for its own version.
The limits are capacity and confidence. 5,000mAh is one partial charge, the 3.9-star average rests on a small sample, and Samsung’s pricier version adds a kickstand and a proper camera-bar cutout. Buy the MAG-5 if it fits your setup and budget exactly; otherwise the Belkin or a larger magnetic bank is the safer spend.
