The elago W3 is a silicone stand shaped like the original 1984 Macintosh. You thread your Apple Watch charger into the back, lay the watch in the “screen”, and nightstand mode turns it into a little computer showing the time. It has been on sale since 2017, it costs about fifteen dollars, and it is still the most charming way to charge a watch.

It is a single piece of silicone moulded into the shape of the original Macintosh, down to the floppy slot. The watch sits in the recess where the screen would be, and with nightstand mode on, the time appears sideways like a tiny monitor. It is small, light and soft, so it will not scratch the watch or the table.
You push your Apple Watch charging puck into the opening in the back and route the cable out through the base. It is a snug fit by design, which is why it holds the puck securely, but it takes a minute the first time. Once it is in, you just drop the watch in each night. The stand does not come with a charger.
As a stand it does its job. The watch sits at the right angle for nightstand mode, the band folds out of the way and the silicone keeps everything from shifting. Charging speed is whatever your cable does — the stand has no electronics of its own. Stability is praised; it is light, so a tug on the cable can move it.

There is not much to go wrong with a silicone block, and eight years of sales back that up. Silicone picks up dust and the white shows it; it wipes clean. The Amazon listing does not state a warranty, and the listing is sold by elago itself.
At $14.49 on Amazon (checked Oct 11, 2026), it is one of the cheapest ways to get a proper nightstand setup.
Add the price of a spare Apple charger if you do not want to move yours, and you are still under the cost of most all-in-one stands. For the fun of it alone, it is easy value.

The simplest nightstand setup is this stand plus Apple’s fast charger, which together still cost less than the Belkin pad. Pick the Belkin if you want a charger built in and something that folds flat for travel. Prices are live Amazon figures.
The elago W3 is one of those accessories that is hard not to like. It is cheap, it is stable, it protects the watch, and nightstand mode turns it into a tiny Macintosh on your bedside table.
The reservations are practical. You have to bring your own charger, fitting it is a one-time fiddle, and this version is not for the Ultra. None of that is a reason not to buy one.
