−10% Spigen Ultra Hybrid MagFit (iPhone 17/18 Pro Max)
For $27.99, the Lanhiem crams a lot onto an iPhone 17 Pro: an IP68 water seal, dust protection, a built-in privacy screen and a MagSafe ring. That’s far less than a name-brand sealed case costs.
It also comes with the compromises every fully sealed case makes. The first one you’ll notice is the sound.

One-sentence verdict: Worth it if you want IP68 sealing and a built-in privacy screen for a fraction of a name-brand price and can put up with muffled audio; skip it if you want clear sound, a seal with a proven long-term record, or just a normal everyday case.

A full-seal case with a built-in privacy screen — cheaper than an OtterBox FRĒ, with a similar audio compromise.

It’s a two-piece sealed enclosure, built the way most waterproof cases are. The front frame carries a built-in screen film with the privacy filter, and it clips to a back shell with gaskets and a sealed port cover. Put it together carefully and it seals.
Build quality is where owners part ways. Plenty are happy with it, but a notable minority say the case cracked or the seal failed early, and on a case whose entire job is keeping water away from your phone, an early seal failure is a much bigger problem than a scuffed corner would be on an ordinary case.
Put the phone in, close the two halves and check the gasket. Then, like with any sealed case, test it in water without the phone before you trust it.
The privacy filter and screen film are part of the front frame, so there’s nothing extra to install. The flip side is that you can’t take them off, which means you live with the slight dimming and haze all the time, even indoors when nobody’s around to peek at your screen.
Set up properly, the IP68 seal works, and the privacy filter blocks side viewers just as promised, though it costs you some brightness every time you look at the screen.
Audio is the everyday price. Calls and speaker sound come through muffled, which is the same complaint you’ll hear about every full-seal case. Touch through the film is acceptable, and the MagSafe ring holds accessories fine.

Here’s the weak spot. Owner reports on toughness really are all over the place, from “survived everything” to “broke in a week“, and there aren’t many reviews to go on. Lanhiem doesn’t publish a warranty either. Check the returns window when you buy, and test the seal early, while you can still send it back.
At $27.99, it costs far less than a name-brand sealed case like the OtterBox FRĒ ($94.99), which is going after a similar goal, and it adds a privacy screen the OtterBox doesn’t have.
The price is the whole appeal. If you want water sealing on a budget and you go in knowing that the seal is less proven, the sound is compromised and the durability reports don’t agree with each other, it’s a reasonable gamble. We’d call it a fair buy under about $25 for occasional use around water. As an everyday case, it isn’t one we’d pick.

| Product | Best for | Key advantage | Main drawback | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lanhiem Waterproof Anti-Spy (iPhone 17 Pro, this case) | Budget IP68 sealing plus a built-in privacy screen | A lot of features for $27.99 | Muffled audio; inconsistent durability reports; small sample | $27.99 |
| OtterBox FRĒ Series (iPhone 17 Pro) | A proven-brand full-seal waterproof case | Established IP68 design plus MIL-STD-810G drop testing | $94.99; also muffles audio; no privacy screen | $94.99 |
| TORRAS Magnetic Shockproof (iPhone 17 Pro) | Everyday drop protection with no compromises | Slim, $22.99, clear audio, strong MagSafe | Not waterproof; no privacy screen | $22.99 |
Don’t actually need a water seal? The TORRAS Magnetic Shockproof gives you drop protection without any of the audio or durability questions. If you want a proven sealed case and can spend more, the OtterBox FRĒ is the safer bet.
That’s a long feature list for $27.99: IP68 sealing, dust protection, a built-in privacy screen and a MagSafe ring, for far less than a name-brand sealed case.
The compromises are real. Sound comes through muffled, the always-on privacy filter dims the screen, and, more worryingly, owners are split on how well the case and its seal hold up. A 3.9-star average from a small group of buyers reflects that. Buy it with your eyes open for occasional water use on a budget. For an everyday case, or a seal you can fully trust, look elsewhere.

Figures marked “Lanhiem” are the manufacturer’s published claims. “N/A” means the value is not listed on the Amazon listing or Lanhiem’s materials.
Lanhiem rates it IP68, to about 2 metres for an hour. As with any sealed case, test it in water without the phone before you trust it, and keep the gasket clean.
The sealed speaker and microphone ports cut down audio clarity. That happens with every full-seal waterproof case, including this one.
Yes, it blocks side viewers with a micro-louver filter. The trade-off is a dimmer, slightly hazier display, and you can’t remove it.
No. It’s made for the 6.3-inch iPhone 17 Pro, and Lanhiem sells the Pro Max size as a separate listing.
The listing doesn’t publish any warranty terms, so check the returns window when you buy.
Same basic goal, far cheaper, and it adds a privacy screen. The OtterBox has a more established seal and MIL-STD drop testing, while the Lanhiem’s durability reports are less consistent.
