Anker 60W USB-C Cable (2-Pack, 6 ft)
Home/Universal/Cables & Adapters/Apple 240W USB-C Woven Cable (2 m)
Buy this cable for a MacBook Pro, not for your phone. Apple’s 240W USB-C Woven Cable is built to fast-charge a power-hungry laptop at the full 240W, in a woven jacket that holds up and a practical 2-metre length, with Apple’s warranty behind it.
It’ll charge a phone without any trouble, too. But for a phone on its own, it’s overbuilt and overpriced, and data only runs at USB 2.0 speed.

One-sentence verdict: Buy it if you want a genuine Apple cable that fast-charges a MacBook Pro as well as a phone, in a durable 2-metre length; skip it if you only charge a phone, want fast data transfer, or won’t pay $24.00 for a cable.

Woven jacket, e-marked, 240W — data still runs at USB 2.0 speed.

It’s a white woven cable with chunky moulded connectors and an e-marker chip that unlocks the full 240W.
You can feel the jacket. It doesn’t kink or fray, and it feels as premium as the price suggests. What it doesn’t have is any data or video capability beyond USB 2.0, which is worth knowing before you buy it expecting a do-everything cable.
Plug it in, and as long as the charger and the device on either end can handle it, the e-marker chip inside sorts out the wattage by itself without you having to think about it.
Power is the headline. It carries the full 240W over USB Power Delivery 3.1, which is enough for the fastest-charging laptops you can buy.
Data, on the other hand, is USB 2.0, while the connectors fit snugly and securely, and thanks to the weave, the cable stays flexible over time.

Not compatible:
The woven jacket and moulded ends hold up well, and Apple’s one-year warranty covers the minority of cables that fail early. More than 9,000 buyers give it an average of 4.7 stars, and the main negative is a small pattern of failures at around three months.
At $24.00, it’s priced as a premium cable that can charge a laptop, and that’s exactly what it is.
If you really do fast-charge a MacBook Pro, the price is defensible, because few cables carry the full 240W in a durable jacket with a warranty. If you only charge a phone, you’re paying a big premium for durability and a name, when an Anker two-pack ($9.99) charges your phone exactly the same. Fair under about $19.

| Product | Best for | Key advantage | Main drawback | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apple 240W USB-C Woven Cable (2 m) (this cable) | Fast-charging a MacBook Pro with a genuine Apple cable | Full 240W PD 3.1, woven, e-marked, 1-year warranty | USB 2.0 data; $24.00; overkill for a phone | $24.00 |
| Anker 60W USB-C Cable (2-Pack, 6 ft) | Phone charging in bulk | Two braided cables, lifetime warranty, $9.99 | 60W ceiling; not for a MacBook Pro | $9.99 |
| Baseus USB-C 100W Retractable Cable | A travel cable that also touches a laptop | 100W, retractable, packs small | Durability reports mixed | $11.99 |
For charging a phone, the Anker two-pack does exactly the same job for a fraction of the price. And if you want laptop-capable charging in something smaller for travel, the Baseus 100W retractable is an option, though its durability record is weaker.
Right cable. Specific job. It fast-charges a MacBook Pro at the full 240W, the woven jacket holds up, and Apple’s one-year warranty stands behind it. It handles a phone without any effort as well, and 2 metres is a sensible length.
What you get for $24.00, though, is a charging cable with USB 2.0 data and no video output. For a power-hungry laptop? Worth it. If you only charge a phone, you’re paying several times the price of an Anker two-pack for exactly the same charging, plus a nicer jacket and a name.

Yes. It carries the full 240W over USB Power Delivery 3.1, which is enough for the fastest-charging laptops.
No. Data runs at USB 2.0 speed, up to 480 Mbps, so think of it as a charging cable, not a data or video cable.
Yes, at full speed. But an Anker two-pack ($9.99) charges a phone exactly the same.
A minority say it failed after around three months. Apple’s one-year warranty covers a replacement through Apple Support.
2 metres, which reaches comfortably from a wall socket to a desk or a bedside table.
If you fast-charge a laptop, yes. If you only charge a phone, no. Spend much less on an Anker two-pack.
