The 313 is a small, flat, round puck with a rubberised top and a Micro-USB input. It is unremarkable in the way a cheap accessory should be — it sits flat, does not slide, and takes up little space. The build is fine for the money, though the volume of owner reports about units failing within a month suggests quality control is not perfect.
Plug it into an adapter you already own (Anker does not include one), set the phone on top roughly centred, and it starts. There is no magnetic pull to guide placement, so on a nightstand in the dark you can miss the coil and wake up to a phone that never charged.
For a wireless charger, performance is wattage, heat and placement tolerance. Wattage is the weak point: 7.5W to an iPhone is slow by 2026 standards, where MagSafe and Qi2 pads do 15W and up. Heat is low, which is a genuine upside for overnight use. Placement tolerance is average — without magnets, a knock can slide the phone off the coil.

This is the mixed part. Most units work for years; a meaningful minority stop working after a few weeks, which shows up repeatedly in reviews. Anker’s 18-month warranty is the safety net, and Anker support is generally responsive, so a dead unit is replaceable rather than a total loss.
At $18.99 on Amazon (checked August 26, 2026), it is inexpensive, but you also need to supply an adapter, so the real cost is closer to $30 to get it working at full speed.
For a slow, no-frills overnight pad from a brand with a warranty, that is acceptable. For a few dollars more you can get a Qi2 or MagSafe pad that charges an iPhone twice as fast and holds it in place magnetically, which is the better buy for most people. We would call this a fair buy under about $15, adapter in hand.

If you want real speed and magnetic alignment, step up to a Qi2 or MagSafe pad. If you buy the Anker 313 anyway, pair it with a 20W USB-C adapter to get its rated output. Prices are Amazon figures from August 26, 2026.
The Anker 313 is a competent, cheap, slow Qi pad. It runs cool, it comes from a brand that honours its 18-month warranty, and its enormous review history is mostly positive. For an undemanding overnight charge it does the job.
But it is a 2019-era design at a 2026 price point. iPhone charging is limited to 7.5W, there is no magnetic alignment, and you have to supply your own adapter. For a little more money a Qi2 or MagSafe pad charges twice as fast and holds the phone in place. Buy the 313 only if the lowest price and a brand name are what matter.
