This is a two-piece sealed case in the standard budget-waterproof style: a front frame with a built-in screen film, a back shell, rubber gaskets around the seam, and a hinged flap over the charging port. The moulding is fine for the money. The recurring build complaint is the port flap — it is small and its latch is not confident, and owners frequently report it popping open, which is exactly the failure that lets water in.
Clean the gasket, seat the phone, close and latch the two halves and the port flap. Diverbox and common sense both say to do a water test with the phone out first. Getting a consistent seal takes care each time, and a rushed close is the usual reason water gets in.
For a sealed case the seal, sound and everyday use are the measures. The seal works when everything is latched properly, but the port flap makes ‘properly’ less reliable than it should be.
